About the Role
The FTSE Russell Engineered Products and Indices team at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a talented Quantitative Indices & Strategies (QIS) Structurer to originate new business opportunities, develop innovative products, and expand the FTSE Russell QIS platform. This role involves collaborating with research and distribution partners to create new QIS products across asset classes, driving innovation in index construction, and integrating derivatives-based data and strategies. You will produce white paper research and marketing collateral, participate in sales efforts, and contribute to business planning by identifying target markets and client segments globally. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with clients to optimize strategy performance while maintaining integrity and representativeness. The role also includes writing index methodologies, working with IT to build front-to-back architecture including back-testing, validation, calculation, and publication, and enhancing the Python backtesting engine using object-oriented programming principles for scalable solutions. Additionally, you will analyze and optimize the existing codebase for performance and maintainability.

Experience
Proven experience as a QIS structurer, preferably within a bank environment. Strong Python programming skills and a solid understanding of quantitative investment strategies across asset classes and risk premia.

Qualifications
