About the Role
As a Senior Property Acquisitions Manager at HS2, you will lead delegated acquisitions to ensure the timely availability of required land for the HS2 project. You will be responsible for overseeing complex and challenging acquisitions across a diverse mix of properties, including urban and large rural areas. Your role includes implementing acquisition strategies, managing negotiations with landowners, and ensuring compensation claims are settled within policy, legal guidelines, and budget parameters.

You will proactively build relationships with affected property owners and organisations to facilitate effective negotiations and support petitions, negotiations, and valuations to meet forecast and quality requirements. You will lead negotiations for petitions within a specified geographical area to minimise escalation to select committees and prepare evidence for committee cases.

Providing technical advice to delivery, town planning, environment, and petition management teams from a property perspective is essential. Collaboration and communication with the property acquisition management team will ensure a consistent approach across HS2.

HS2 Ltd is committed to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). You will actively promote and embed EDI in all your work and support organisational initiatives, policies, and procedures to create an inclusive and supportive work environment.

HS2 Ltd does not hold a sponsorship license and cannot provide sponsorship. Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK at the time of application. The recruitment process includes anonymised CV review to remove bias and promote diversity.
