About the Role
Linklaters is a global law firm operating in 20 countries through 30 offices. We pride ourselves on being a people business, where exceptional talent thrives in a collaborative, innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible environment. We foster a positive, supportive, fair, and inclusive atmosphere that values diversity and challenges bias.

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Advisor on a 15-month fixed-term contract to manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) and debt profiles across designated practice groups. Your role will focus on driving timely billing to optimise recovery and minimise financial exposure. You will collaborate closely with Partners, Matter Managers, and Credit Control to ensure strong financial discipline, maximise cash collection, and reduce aged debt.

Key responsibilities include managing WIP and debt portfolios, monitoring WIP against budgets, owning the end-to-end billing process including client and eBilling requirements, providing clear reporting on financial positions, supporting client negotiations, and contributing to process improvements. You will build strong relationships to promote good financial hygiene and support effective matter management, while escalating issues as needed.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s financial performance within a collaborative Finance team and benefit from Linklaters’ comprehensive employee benefits.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience within a professional services environment, with a strong focus on managing the working capital cycle. Solid understanding of billing processes within a law firm or similar professional services setting. Experience within a legal practice, ideally in a top-tier or leading firm. Good working knowledge of VAT and awareness of compliance risks, including CCO requirements. Familiarity with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and their practical application.

About you
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage financial data accurately and support effective decision-making. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships with Partners, clients, and internal teams. Proactive, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Committed to fostering inclusivity and working within a diverse team.

Qualifications
