About the Role
This Senior Risk Assurance Projects Manager role will engage daily with enterprise-wide stakeholders to develop the risk oversight model and lead the implementation of the risk system. You will support the First Line in managing risks within Nest's risk appetite by providing constructive challenge and advice. Additionally, you will contribute to wider Second Line initiatives, including directorate-level objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Risk Assurance, you will lead the evolution of the Risk Assurance team by delivering enhancements to the risk oversight model and providing effective risk-based challenge to the first line. The role sits within the Risk Assurance team, part of the Risk Oversight function responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the risk management and controls framework across Nest. The team provides risk challenge and oversight to enable the business to operate within its agreed risk appetite.

Experience
- Proven experience in a 2nd line Risk function with strong knowledge of enterprise risk.
- Experience developing risk oversight models, including frameworks, templates, and methodologies.
- Background in internal audit or assurance within financial services.
- Demonstrated success managing and delivering projects in a financial services environment.
- Regulatory experience, for example with FCA or TPR.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior leaders.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
