About the Role
The Group Risk team is responsible for establishing the framework for managing risks across the Group. Acting as a strategic partner, the team provides close advisory support to businesses and is engaged in all key strategic initiatives. This global function supports teams across multiple geographies, cultures, and capabilities, fostering development for both individuals and the Group.
This role requires close alignment with Group Risk colleagues in central teams (Frameworks and Policy, Tooling, Cyber, Sustainability, TPRM) and Coverage (Data and Analytics, Markets, Post Trade and Operations). You will support the Divisional Risk Officer for Corporate Functions to identify, assess, manage, and monitor risks, providing 2nd line coverage for Legal and Compliance.
Key responsibilities include overseeing non-financial risk identification and monitoring within Corporate Functions, enabling implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, promoting a strong risk culture, and ensuring effective control improvement and issue remediation. You will contribute to risk reporting, provide expert advice to senior leaders, and encourage best practices aligned with the Group Risk framework.
Additional duties involve supporting the First Line team in Risk and Control Assessments, ensuring high-quality remediation plans for risks near or outside appetite, reviewing key controls and audit findings, and delivering training and workshops. You will also manage the Enterprise Portfolio, prepare risk insights for committee meetings, and collaborate closely with the Enterprise investment team.

Experience
Proven experience in Non-Financial Risk and controls, including coverage roles within Corporate Functions. Skilled in communication and collaboration across global teams with a strong problem-solving mindset. Experience in selecting and challenging KRIs, KPIs, and objectives to ensure alignment with Group risk strategy. Ability to conduct deep dives and analysis on key programs, providing valuable risk insights. Experience managing transformation projects and portfolios is highly desirable.
