Key responsibilities include preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef while ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times. You will manage your station, oversee production of all dishes assigned to you, maintain cleanliness and supplies, and uphold high quality standards for presentation and taste. Collaboration with the team and coaching junior chefs to support their development is essential. You will also work with the head chef on menu development, tasting new recipes and suggesting improvements or innovations. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and ensuring equipment is in good working order are also important duties.

Experience
Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar culinary role.

Qualifications
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
