Your role is pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You will oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. It’s B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count, so you’ll strive to ensure B&Q is a place colleagues love to work, and customers love to shop. In this role you will:
- Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
- Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
- Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
- Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
Experience
Passionate about customers and doing the right thing for them. Experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential.

- Like to have a global view and not be constrained to specific areas of the store.
- Safety conscious with an eye for detail to spot compliance opportunities.
- Enjoy interacting with colleagues and working in a team.
- Bring energy to each day and motivate those around you.
- Confident to have autonomy and trust to make decisions for the customer at pace.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and leading a team effectively is essential.
