We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Metering team, where you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector. Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to ensure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored. As an engineer, you'll be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance and removal of smart meters. Customer service is our top priority, ensuring that all jobs are completed on time and our customers understand the benefits and safe usage of their new smart meter. You will complete around 5 jobs per day and have access to your schedule up to 2 weeks in advance. Continuous training will be provided to maintain and develop your skills, with 83% of our field management team having been internally promoted from a technician.

Experience
Valid UK driving licence - You must have held your licence for 1 year and have less than 6 points. Experience installing gas and electric smart meters is preferred.

About you
Do you have a CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 all with MET1, or hold an NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel? Previous MOCOPA experience to a multi-rate level is advantageous. Bonus qualifications such as REGT1, 3 phase are a plus, but not required to apply.
