We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, providing efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters. As an engineer, you'll be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance and removal of smart meters. Customer service is our top priority. You'll ensure that all jobs are completed on time and our customers are explained the benefits and safe usage of their new smart meter. You will be completing the installation and removal of smart meters (SMETS2) in our customers' homes, doing around 5 jobs per day. There's an uncapped bonus for any extra jobs you complete too. You'll be travelling around your area using your tablet to see your jobs for the day, with access to your schedule up to 2 weeks in advance. Continuous training will be provided to maintain and develop your skills. Health and safety will be at the heart of everything you do, and your onboarding journey will ensure you are prepped and ready to be an ambassador for health and safety. You'll have weekly meetings and catch-ups, with field managers always available to offer assistance. No day is the same, and you'll be given endless opportunities to shine.

Experience
Valid UK driving licence - You must have held your licence for 1 year and have less than 6 points. Experience installing gas and electric smart meters is preferred.

About you
Do you have a CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 all with MET1, or hold an NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel? Previous MOCOPA experience to a multi-rate level is advantageous. Bonus qualifications such as REGT1, 3 phase are a plus, and ideally, you should have been registered on the EUSR portal.
