Our Avigilon Alta Video UI team is responsible for mission-critical infrastructure powering our Video Management System (VMS). As a Software Engineer focused on frontend development with TypeScript, you will analyze, develop, and maintain software for our products and systems. You will build tested, maintainable code, implement state management patterns, and API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem. Collaboration with other teams and a strong engineering mindset are key to success in this role. We prioritize engineering fundamentals over specific library knowledge, with a stack featuring Vue 3, Pinia, TypeScript on the frontend, and Go on the backend.

Experience
2-5 years of software engineering experience with knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and ideally modern frontend frameworks.
Understanding of application state patterns and data flows (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, or Redux) and reactivity/observables.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and websockets.
Solid understanding of web development principles.
Good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
