We're on a mission to redefine the way privacy is handled in the digital world, and we're looking for engineers to join the team. In service of this goal, we have multiple high visibility, high impact senior engineering roles available in Privacy, placing you at the heart of some of the company’s most important investments and challenges. You might work on company-wide regulatory responses, supporting product teams across Meta on both technical strategy and execution. Alternatively, you may develop deep expertise in a particular theme of external pressure, shaping the company’s technical direction and developing centralized systems and tooling to enable the business to execute at pace while meeting our obligations. You will drive technical strategy for trajectory-altering problems, negotiate approaches with executive leadership, develop execution plans with partner organizations, and ensure privacy commitments are met while optimizing company efficiency. You will establish technical direction for new Privacy teams working in areas with evolving requirements and significant organizational complexity. Accelerate our ability to meet privacy commitments by developing and applying novel technologies. Partner and communicate effectively with teams across Meta to navigate complex technical trade-offs in privacy decision making. Identify and execute opportunities to help the company move fast through centralization of tooling and systems. Embrace a constantly evolving environment where processes are fluid and creative solutions are operationalized rapidly.

Experience
- Leading projects with industry-wide impact
- Communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
- Mentoring and influencing senior engineers across organizations
- Planning multi-year roadmaps aligning short-term projects with long-term vision
- Building large-scale applications or similar experience
- Working with web or mobile technologies
- Applying privacy frameworks, data strategy, or AI/ML techniques to product development
- Shipping products to millions of customers
- Adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices such as risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality reviews
- Integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact
- Demonstrating ongoing AI skill development and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
