About the Role
Linklaters is a global law firm operating in 20 countries through 30 offices, recognised for its commitment to diversity and inclusion. We are seeking an experienced Spain qualified Support Lawyer with expertise in Real Estate, Banking, or Capital Markets to join our Transactional team. This role involves providing broad paralegal support to our Madrid practice groups from the UK. Key responsibilities include supporting transaction coordination, liaising with clients, lawyers, and third parties to ensure smooth and timely execution of mandates, managing document checklists, monitoring compliance and deadlines, and serving as a central point of contact for transaction stakeholders. You will assist with due diligence, record management, and transaction bibles, focusing on accurate documentation rather than post-completion administration. The role also involves overseeing completion processes, maintaining comprehensive records, addressing client and internal queries, and providing regular updates on transaction progress and next steps.

Experience
Spain-qualified Support Lawyer with at least 1 year of experience in Real Estate, Banking, or Capital Markets.

Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and pragmatic approach. Strong commercial judgement and confidence to ask questions when necessary. Ability to work independently over time and lead projects with minimal supervision. A thorough and proactive approach with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficient delivery.

Qualifications
Qualified lawyer in Spain with relevant experience in transactional legal support.
