About the Role
The Specialist Pharmacy Technician will play a key role in the management and support of clinical trials within the Trust. Responsibilities include managing existing studies, handling study modifications, and supporting early-stage feasibility assessments. You will provide site qualification support to sponsors, assist with study set up and initiation, and maintain studies through to closing and archiving. The role also involves dispensing and checking clinical trial medications (including ACPT if applicable) and managing invoicing processes. This position requires close collaboration with clinical teams and sponsors to ensure smooth and compliant trial delivery.

Experience
Experience in clinical trials pharmacy or a related healthcare setting is desirable. Familiarity with study management, dispensing, and clinical trial procedures will be advantageous.

You will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and research teams are essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adherence to regulatory standards is required.

Qualifications
Relevant pharmacy technician qualifications are required. Additional training or certification related to clinical trials would be beneficial.
