About the Service and Team
You will join an enthusiastic, friendly and supportive service that places families and young people at the heart of its work. The service works closely with social care and is integral to improving outcomes for young people. The team is expanding its edge of care offer to provide more bespoke, intensive services to keep young people safely at home when possible.
The adolescent service consists of 3 managers and 7 staff members, based at the Quad alongside other teams, providing strong support and expertise. The service values staff wellbeing, flexibility, reflective spaces and offers excellent training opportunities.

About the Role
The Adolescent Team supports young people aged 11-17 who are at the edge of care or at risk of exploitation and risky behaviours. You will manage a caseload and develop intervention plans to support young people and their families, aiming to improve outcomes and reduce risks.
The role requires holistic, restorative approaches to help families stay together and overcome complex needs. Flexibility is needed for visits outside office hours and occasional weekend work.

Our Ideal Candidate
You will be passionate and experienced in working with vulnerable adolescents, ideally with experience managing caseloads, conducting assessments, creating intervention plans, and direct family work. Creativity in developing support packages and confidence in multi-agency collaboration are essential.
You should be able to manage your time effectively, meet deadlines, and demonstrate outcomes. Quality assurance and collecting feedback from young people and families are important.
While no formal qualification is required, experience in youth work, family therapy, trauma-informed practice, restorative approaches, contextual safeguarding or social care is desirable.
