About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring Store Design Project Manager to manage key store design projects across Europe (North & South). This role involves overseeing projects from initial creative concept through to store opening, predominantly focusing on Self-Select store execution across Europe. You will foster exceptional Charlotte Tilbury customer experience while managing cost, schedule, and operational requirements. Reporting to the Head of Store Design, EU, you will lead projects from concept to reality, liaising with suppliers and contractors. Attention to detail is essential, as you will handle CPAs, budgets, contracts, and more. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy and time management.
Key responsibilities include ensuring design standards and concepts are maintained in all architectural details; managing and developing consultants including ME engineers, external PMs, and architects; interpreting DDA and building codes and applying for relevant building applications; researching materials and architectural details with suppliers; organising and archiving project documentation; ensuring project execution aligns with brand strategy, schedules, and budgets; communicating effectively both verbally and through drawings; reviewing and approving manufacture drawings for design integrity and safety; managing CPAs and presenting updates; identifying and resolving issues impacting schedule, cost, or design integrity; and attending installations to monitor standards and snagging.
Who You Will Work With
You will report directly to the Head of Store Design, EU, and collaborate closely with the wider Store Design & VM team within the EU function, the Global team, and cross-functionally with the wider EU function.
Experience
- Proven project management experience within the retail space.
- Extensive knowledge of accessibility and building codes.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural concepts.
- Experience managing approval processes for retail stores in diverse environments (new stores, existing stores, historic street-facing buildings).
- Strong problem-solving skills related to construction materials and methods.
- Expert user of Vectorworks, AutoCAD, basic Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
