About the Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will provide a high quality and effective professional casework service, managing a caseload within a framework of appropriate supervision depending on case complexity and social worker experience. You will work closely with foster carers, children, and families to support vulnerable service users, ensuring the needs of the child remain paramount. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and implementing safeguarding measures using evidence-based analytical practice to help children reach their full potential. You will work to structured time management practices, submitting reports, assessments, and plans within regulated timescales. Maintaining accurate written and computerised records in line with legislative requirements will be essential. Additionally, you will coordinate and take a lead role in multi-professional and agency groups and other professional meetings.

Experience
Proven experience working with children, young people, and families, including those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Experience in completing high quality assessments, developing effective care and support plans, and applying relevant legislation in practice.

About You
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports for reviews, conferences, and court proceedings. Demonstrated sound analytical skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
Recognised Social Work qualification and active Social Work England registration are essential.
