Our work matters to millions. It’ll matter to you too. Join our Major Projects team as a Supply Chain Manager in London and you’ll be a big part of fascinating, complex, varied and meaningful work. As a Supply Chain Manager you will play a pivotal role in enabling successful work winning and project delivery across Major Projects by leading strategic supply chain engagement and market-facing activities. Working within a cross-functional environment, the role ensures early alignment of supply chain capability with bid objectives, client expectations, and commercial targets.
The role is responsible for developing and executing robust supply chain strategies, securing early commitment from key partners, and shaping value-driven, compliant sourcing approaches that enhance competitiveness. Through proactive market engagement and strong supplier relationships, the Supply Chain Manager will ensure supply chain readiness, resilience, and mobilisation capability to support successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include leading supply chain strategy development for bids, ensuring alignment with win themes, client outcomes, delivery models, and commercial targets; developing and leading a Strategic Supplier Relationship Management Programme including Strategic Workstreams and Continuous Improvement Plans; facilitating and fully implementing Supplier Performance Management within Major Projects via the Jaggaer e-Procurement system; driving early supply chain engagement and market intelligence; building compelling supply chain contributions to PQQ and ITT responses; facilitating Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) with key partners to optimise design, de-risk delivery, enhance buildability, and unlock innovation and value.
Additional duties involve defining packaging strategy and supply chain architecture, securing robust supply chain input into pricing and solution development, championing supply chain governance and risk management, operating as a core member of project/bid leadership teams, providing clear reporting on supply chain readiness, risks and opportunities, driving continuous improvement and market-facing best practice, and ensuring mobilisation readiness through early partner alignment to enable seamless transition from bid to delivery.

Experience
- Relevant business degree or equivalent experience (e.g. MCIPS) (desired)
- Experience in developing and delivering supply chain strategy
- Pragmatic yet disciplined approach to process compliance
- Highly results orientated with a proven track record of exceeding targets
- Stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Presentation skills
