About the Role
Merton’s Family Support and Safeguarding Service is seeking a Team Manager to join our long-term Social Work teams in a rewarding leadership role. We operate a blended practice model combining Systemic Practice, Relationship Based Social Work, Trauma-Informed approaches, and Signs of Safety, embedded throughout all our work with children and families. We work within a well-established multiagency partnership striving to:

As Team Manager, you will lead and manage a team of 5 Social Workers and a Child and Family Worker, supported by a dedicated Business Support Officer. The role also attracts a Golden Hello payment of £4,500, paid in two instalments.
Experience
Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England with relevant leadership experience. Proven knowledge and experience in delivering statutory safeguarding services and providing high impact, quality services to children and families.

Strong leadership skills with a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multiagency environment and to embed systemic and trauma-informed practice. Dedicated to upholding the values of the service and promoting diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications
Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
