About the Role
In this role, you will provide a cost-effective training service to managers and staff to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and certificates to carry out their roles. You will be motivated as a team member to attain various objectives and complete reasonable tasks related to training, motivating employees to attend training and gain competencies. You will work with all departments to make the necessary arrangements for delegates to attend training and keep all records updated to help them obtain full compliance. You will be required to update delegates’ personal files with qualification copies.
You will work as part of the Joint Venture Training Team providing effective and timely administration in support of training activities. You will ensure that the L&D administrators efficiently and effectively book and deliver relevant training. You will complete all personal training as appropriate and required.
Key responsibilities include raising purchase orders, receipting orders, resolving invoice queries, coordinating and administering CITB levy/claim with Balfour Beatty, liaising with internal and external training providers, booking training venues when required, updating and maintaining accurate and comprehensive training records, and developing as a primary user for administering/managing the Training Database Records. You will extract, consolidate and manipulate learning and development data for regular reports and on request, respond to other Training Department requirements, monitor qualification expiry dates to ensure timely renewals, and continue to develop and improve current systems to ensure ongoing compliance with qualifications to meet industry standards and regulations.
