About the Role
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is seeking two Vaccine Tracking Information Officers to join the Immunisation Programmes division. This division plays a vital role in supporting the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and the NHS by providing technical expertise and managing national immunisation programmes that deliver millions of vaccines annually across various NHS settings.
The role involves managing the development and collection of vaccine coverage data from Child Health Information Systems (CHIS) and primary care sources via ImmForm. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of ImmForm/COVER data collections, including monitoring, validation, analysis, and reporting of vaccine coverage and uptake data for routine immunisation programmes, influenza, and COVID-19 vaccinations.
You will liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including NHS England Immunisation teams, GP IT suppliers, and other health professionals to ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting. The role requires understanding national immunisation policy requirements and managing the development and annual update of data collections.
This position is based primarily at the UKHSA Scientific Campus in Colindale, London, with hybrid working options available. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to public health by supporting the evaluation and improvement of vaccination programmes through high-quality data management and analysis.
Experience
- Knowledge and experience of health data management and interpretation
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Access
- Experience in data analysis and preparation of tables
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in managing data collection and validation processes is desirable
