Job Description
Overview
Manage overall vending operations ensuring agreed standards are met by all vending colleagues.

Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of vending machines across a nationwide group contract.
Ensure machines are stocked, cleaned, and maintained by your team.
Perform regular spot checks and audits to maintain high standards.
Manage maintenance and repair of vending machines, coordinating with vendors and maintenance providers.
Monitor and analyse machine performance data to maximise efficiency and profitability.

Inventory Management
Develop and manage inventory control processes to ensure timely restocking and reduce wastage.
Work with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels of fresh products, snacks, beverages, and other items.
Collaborate with suppliers to minimise costs and increase profitability.
Conduct regular stock and asset audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Financial Management
Manage weekly vending accounts including sales input, invoice checking, stock takes, and cashing up.
Track sales and revenue, providing regular financial reports to senior management.
Assist in preparing and managing the vending operations budget.
Implement cost control measures to optimise profitability.

Client Relations
Build positive, credible, and collaborative relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Address and resolve customer, client, and service issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through regular feedback and service improvements.
Develop and implement marketing initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
Achieve business critical KPIs including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial, and Governance.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with vending machine technology and maintenance.
Technical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining vending equipment.
Familiarity with RAMs and ATA processes preferred but training will be provided.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience commensurate with the role.
Proven ability to manage, train, and support a team.
Experience in operational, inventory, financial, and client management preferred.
