As VP-Strategy & Business Management, you will drive strategic growth, stakeholder engagement, and transformational initiatives that advance Moody’s Ratings’ priorities across the Middle East region. You will support the evaluation and strategic oversight of regional growth initiatives, partnerships, and investment opportunities, facilitate cross-functional alignment on governance, operational, analytical, and strategic matters, and build relationships with key capital market stakeholders including regulators, stock exchanges, banks, asset managers, issuers, and public sector entities.

You will also support market outreach activities, thought leadership programs, and educational initiatives that promote capital market development, deliver market intelligence and strategic insights to regional and global leadership, and partner with senior leadership on the evaluation, execution, and integration of strategic opportunities. Additionally, you may serve as a representative director or board member for relevant affiliate investments, providing governance oversight and strategic guidance.

The Regional Management team provides leadership and coordination across Moody’s Ratings’ business activities throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. By joining this team, you will contribute to initiatives that support financial market development, enhance stakeholder engagement, and drive innovation and transformation across the region.

Experience
- In-depth knowledge of or interest in Moody’s Ratings business model, credit rating agency industry, global financial markets, and regulatory regimes
- Strong understanding of financial sector development, capital markets evolution, and regulatory trends across EMEA, with focus on the Middle East
- Knowledge of Islamic finance, including Shariah-compliant funding structures, fixed income markets, and financial institutions
- Strong communication and relationship management skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders across diverse cultures
- Ability to discuss analytical and technical financial issues and translate complex market developments into strategic insights
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically across the Middle East
- Experience and willingness to explore innovative problem-solving approaches while working independently
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Growing awareness of AI risk management and commitment to responsible, ethical AI use

- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills highly desirable

Qualifications
- Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in finance, accounting, business, or economics
- Professional business, financial, or accounting qualification preferred, such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
