Location
London Borough of Lewisham. The role is primarily based in Laurence House with a hybrid working approach, requiring regular work both in the office and from home.

Salary
£52,269 - £54,360 per annum (PO4). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade unless matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale) with evidential proof.

As a Work Supervisor - Roofing, you will provide frontline leadership with zero compromise on safety and resident care. This role involves setting high standards on site, ensuring repairs are delivered safely, professionally, and with respect for residents in their homes. You will take day-to-day ownership of live works, make sound decisions, and manage changing priorities to keep jobs moving and risks controlled.

You will be responsible for the on-site supervision of trade operatives delivering repairs across voids, responsive repairs, damp and mould, and roofing workstreams. Managing daily workloads and multiple priorities, you will maintain strong control over quality, productivity, and performance. Embedding a positive safety culture is essential, ensuring safe systems of work are followed at all times and challenging poor practice where necessary.

This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to make sound decisions on site, and a clear focus on delivering a high-quality, right-first-time repairs service for residents. Experience
Trade-qualified supervisor (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a core building trade) with strong technical knowledge of housing repairs and maintenance. Proven experience supervising and motivating trade operatives, driving productivity, quality of work, and value for money.

Qualifications
