About the Role
Join WTW’s Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) team and be part of a unique blend of insurance consulting expertise and innovative technology. This apprenticeship offers a 24-36 month programme where you will work alongside market-leading experts on diverse client projects across all major actuarial pillars within Property and Casualty (P&C) including reserving, capital, and pricing. You will also gain exposure to data science, process transformation, risk and regulatory, climate, exposure management, underwriting, and claims analytics, contributing to both client projects and research/product development.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you will use actuarial and statistical modelling techniques to analyse data and produce insightful results, present your findings internally and to clients, and collaborate with colleagues both in the UK and globally. You will develop core technical and consulting skills through hands-on experience, learn and apply open-source tools alongside WTW’s proprietary insurance technology solutions, and benefit from structured early-career training and ongoing learning from subject matter experts.

You will be supported by a line manager, a buddy, and a coach from a government-approved training provider to guide your academic and professional development. Successfully completing the apprenticeship will open opportunities to grow within your current role or progress to the Level 7 Apprenticeship scheme within the Insurance Consulting team.

Experience
No prior experience required. The programme is designed to support your learning and development throughout the apprenticeship.

- Highly numerate with a strong mathematical and analytical mindset
- Clear and confident communicator
- Personable, approachable, and motivated to work collaboratively in a supportive team environment
- Interested in learning and developing new ideas
- Disciplined and determined, able to balance the demands of studying while working
- Computer literate, ideally with some understanding of Excel
- Comfortable using AI tools to support work, with an understanding of their strengths and limitations

Qualifications
- A-Level qualified, including A-Level Mathematics at grade A or above
- At least 136 UCAS points across three A levels or equivalent qualifications (e.g. AAB or A*AC)
- Equivalent qualifications will be considered
