About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and technical Forward Deployed Engineer Principal to lead the implementation of our newest innovations in Agentic Analytics across Tableau Next, Cloud, and Server. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between product and customer success by partnering with our most strategic new customers to architect and deploy their first agentic analytics use cases, metrics, and dashboards. You will build robust semantic data models on top of Salesforce Data360, incorporating Agentforce topics and actions to transform raw data into actionable, conversational insights. Your work will ensure technical success of initial launches and provide critical feedback to product teams, shaping the future of enterprise-scale agentic analytics.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy bespoke conversational analytics agents optimized for accuracy, latency, and user relevance
- Design and refine complex semantic data models within Salesforce Data360
- Accelerate customer time-to-value by rapidly prototyping and iterating solutions to solve specific business questions
- Engineer scalable data pipelines to unify structured and unstructured data into the Data360 lakehouse environment
- Serve as the technical voice of the customer, documenting friction points and collaborating with Product Management and Engineering
- Conduct technical hand-offs and mentoring sessions to enable customer self-sufficiency
- Troubleshoot complex architectures to ensure reliable, production-grade experiences

Experience
- 7+ years of technical experience in data engineering, analytics implementation, or software development with a focus on customer-facing delivery
- Strong hands-on experience with modern data architectures and SQL, especially data modeling and schema design
- Practical experience with AI and NLP technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or conversational AI frameworks
- Solid understanding of semantic modeling, mapping business logic to physical data layers
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting, with familiarity in API integrations
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools daily for rapid iterative development and implementation
- Proven problem-solving agility in fast-paced, ambiguous customer environments
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executives

Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau and similar BI platforms, including data source integration, calculation syntax, and dashboard design
- Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem including Agentforce, Data Cloud, Einstein, and Apex
- Experience architecting or implementing system automations and integrations via iPaaS or API gateways
- Prior experience in a Forward Deployed or Solution Architecture role at an enterprise software company is preferred
