About the Role

We are seeking an Associate level Architect with healthcare experience to join our healthcare team. You will support the delivery of major healthcare projects and manage a range of smaller healthcare projects, working with a diverse and growing client base. You will join a highly creative, collaborative, and inclusive team focused on innovative problem solving and design excellence across sectors including Health, Education, Science, and Living.
In this role, you will coordinate design and construction phases of projects of varying sizes, deliver high-quality architectural solutions, lead elements of projects independently, and support studio management with programming and resourcing. Your experience should ideally include recent exposure to Healthcare and Science projects. You will run significant healthcare projects, build client relationships, work collaboratively, and provide mentorship.

Role Accountabilities
- Support and lead projects with responsibility for program and budget management, effective time and resource allocation, and promoting best practice within the studio
- Work across all project stages including design development, working drawings, contract administration, and on-site services
- Manage client, team, and project coordination including documentation coordination with other disciplines
- Lead elements of large or complex projects or manage smaller projects independently
- Maintain project documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Process change control requests during construction, address RFIs, and assist with proposals, submissions, and presentations
- Interface with statutory authorities during design and construction phases
- Adhere to quality management, environmental management, and health & safety procedures
- Contribute to business development activities within the studio and office
- Resolve complex technical and design issues
Experience
- RIBA Part 3 qualified and ARB registered with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Background in UK projects, specifically Healthcare and potentially Science sectors
- Experience working on larger projects as part of a team and leading smaller projects day-to-day
- Proficient in Revit and experienced with BIM workflows
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, design standards, and best practice
