We are looking for an Assistant, Global Merchandise Planning to join our Merchandise Planning team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and commercially minded individual passionate about product, planning and delivering insights that drive business performance.

Supporting the Global Merchandise Planning team, you will help deliver planning, forecasting and analysis activities across your category, contributing to key business decisions and helping to maximise sales, profitability and inventory efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the coordination of the Global Open-to-Buy process across both in-season trading and pre-season buys.
- Assisting with the development and delivery of Central Collection Open-to-Buy guidance.
- Supporting the validation of regional Collection Open-to-Buy submissions to ensure alignment with global strategy and planning assumptions.
- Conducting commercial analysis to identify opportunities to improve sales, sell-through and margin performance.
- Supporting forecasting, reporting and planning activities for your category.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Merchandising, Planning and the wider business to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across planning tools, reports and presentations.

Requirements

Experience
Experience within a retail merchandising, merchandise planning or allocation environment. Exposure to merchandise planning processes, including Open-to-Buy, collection planning and margin management. Experience using SAP would be advantageous.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with confidence working across multiple teams. A proactive and collaborative approach, with a desire to learn and develop.

Qualifications
Not specifically stated; however, relevant experience and skills in merchandise planning and analysis are essential.
