About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re looking for a dedicated, experienced, and caring Assistant Psychologist to join our fantastic team! You will support and enhance the psychological wellbeing practice and access to education within the service. Your responsibilities will include working directly with children and young people, providing psychologically based support and training to schools, building positive relations with parents and carers, and maintaining accurate notes, records, and evaluations.
Experience
Experience working in an education setting, particularly with students with Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and dyslexia/dyspraxia.

You should be able to tailor your skills to meet the needs of each individual child, be kind, caring, and patient when dealing with children requiring specialist support, and be a team player who upholds the mission, values, and goals of High Peak School. A can-do attitude, great communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for education and helping students thrive are essential. You must also be able to commute to Disley, Cheshire.
