About Us
Mapesbury School, our newest Special Educational Needs school located in Cricklewood, Brent, supports children aged 7 to 16 years with Autism and associated conditions who have not been able to access education in mainstream or specialist settings. Pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and may display traits of Autism and associated conditions. Mapesbury School is part of Kedleston Group, specialists in providing education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Experience
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and social emotional and mental health needs is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.
Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
