In this role, you will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people. Mapesbury School, our newest Special Educational Needs school in Cricklewood, Brent, supports children aged 7 to 16 with Autism and associated conditions who have not been able to access education in mainstream or specialist settings. Pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and benefit from an integrated therapeutic approach to education.

Mapesbury School is part of Kedleston Group, specialists in providing education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

Requirements

Experience
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and social emotional and mental health needs is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome.
