About the Role
As an Audit Manager within the Data, Privacy and Responsible AI portfolio, you will leverage your deep understanding of Data and AI frameworks, tooling, and practices at Lloyds Banking Group. You will lead high-quality audits or elements of large audits with relative autonomy, applying your knowledge of business strategy, controls, and risks to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of controls, frameworks, and principles related to Data, Privacy, and AI.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced Data and AI environment in one of the UK's largest digital banks. You will contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of LBG's delivery of its Data & AI strategy.

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the audit plan and project managing individual audits on behalf of the portfolio lead
- Supporting control testing and identifying areas of concern with clear articulation of potential challenges
- Building and supporting meaningful stakeholder relationships
- Proactively suggesting and delivering improvements in compliance processes
- Conducting research from multiple perspectives and incorporating external trends
- Role modelling Group values and behaviours
- Coaching and supporting team members with clear communication and feedback
- Sharing insights and feedback that contribute to successful delivery and sustainable impact

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience leading audits end-to-end and engaging key stakeholders to deliver timely, impactful, and valued audit outcomes
- Technical knowledge in Data Management frameworks, including data risks, controls, and tools such as Collibra
- Understanding of AI Governance frameworks, relevant laws and regulations, including intersections with data privacy
- Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and practices
- Previous experience in financial services, audit, or risk is beneficial

- Ability to interpret Group and Business Unit strategy and align audit delivery accordingly
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and communicate data effectively to drive audit outcomes
- Excellent prioritization skills to ensure timely and value-added delivery

Qualifications
- Professional qualifications such as DAMA, CDMP or equivalent work-based experience in relevant areas are desirable
