You will join the Customer Data Services (CDS) Lab, the team responsible for managing customer data across the Group. Our mission is to ensure data availability for the right purposes with appropriate confidentiality, while maintaining exceptional engineering standards, performance, resilience, and integrity.

The systems you will support underpin almost every aspect of Lloyds Banking Group. We maintain these systems to the highest standards and aim to take full ownership of operational support 24/7 using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

Experience
- Proven experience leading mainframe engineering teams and acting as a subject matter expert.
- Hands-on software engineering background with experience maintaining mission-critical mainframe applications.
- Skilled in both traditional and modern toolsets including ISPF, IBM & BMC tools, Endevor, GIT, and VSCode.
- Expert knowledge of COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
- Strong understanding of mainframe architecture with a vision for modernising the mainframe environment.
