About the Role
Join Lloyds Banking Group’s regulatory policy team, where you will help shape and coordinate the Group’s regulatory policy strategy and advocacy. You will work collaboratively across the bank to provide constructive and timely input to government and regulators. This role requires an enthusiastic expert and collaborative manager who will proactively identify and define regulatory policy priorities, views, and engagement plans across your portfolio. You will provide expert analysis on the impact of regulation on Lloyds Banking Group and develop proposals for external stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include drafting and presenting high-quality briefings, consultation responses, position papers, and committee papers, horizon scanning regulatory developments, and supporting cross-team analysis and systems. This is a unique opportunity to influence regulatory policy in a leading financial institution while working in a flexible, hybrid environment.
Experience
- Extensive experience and technical expertise in financial services regulation, including prudential regulation, conduct regulation, or digital assets.
- Recent experience in capital markets, pensions, insurance, or investment is advantageous.
- Proven ability to communicate confidently with external stakeholders and deliver authoritative counsel internally.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet urgent requests.
