About the Role
Are you an experienced Building Fabric Maintenance professional looking for your next challenge? Arcus FM is recruiting a skilled and reliable Fabric Specialist to join our facilities maintenance team. You will deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of multi-site clients in your area. This mobile role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to showcase your expertise in a range of building fabric tasks.

As an Arcus Building Fabric Specialist, you will work across multiple client sites ensuring facilities are safe, fully functional, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include delivering effective repairs and maintenance work to a high standard, responding promptly and professionally to reactive issues, maintaining clear documentation using handheld IT systems, and supporting customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

Experience
Time-served, hands-on experience in multiple trades, ideally within a fabric maintenance role.
Experience in retail or multi-site maintenance environments is desirable.

About you
Confident working independently and in customer-facing environments.
Comfortable using handheld IT equipment for work management and documentation.
Solid knowledge of health & safety standards.
Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications
NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant trade.
A valid UK driver's licence.

Core Trade Skills
- Patch plastering and rendering
- Carpentry and joinery
- Floor and wall coverings (tiling, vinyl etc)
- Basic plumbing
- Changing locks and fittings
- General fabric repairs

While expertise in every area is not required, solid practical experience across a range of these disciplines is essential.
