About the Role
As a Business Development Executive at Bókun, a Tripadvisor company, you will own, grow, and retain a portfolio of accounts with real potential, nurturing them over time to help them get more value from the Bókun platform. This role bridges the gap between self-serve customers and Key Account Managers, managing accounts that require consistent account management and retention as well as those that may grow into Key Accounts. You will proactively identify, prospect, and convert Experience Operators whose needs go beyond self-serve sign-up, and work alongside Business Development Managers to qualify new potential enterprise opportunities. Your responsibilities include running consultative discovery calls, demos, and webinars, representing Bókun at industry events and trade shows, and using Salesforce and sales data to track pipeline and sharpen your approach. Success in this role means consistently meeting and exceeding targets across new business acquisition, account growth, and retention. This position is ideal for someone comfortable with both prospecting cold leads and nurturing warm opportunities, who takes ownership of driving accounts forward.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within SaaS or B2B environments. Proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts.
About you
Confident and consultative communicator across phone, webinars, and trade shows. Highly organised with the ability to manage a large and varied portfolio, adapting quickly to changing priorities. Meticulous CRM discipline with strong Salesforce skills to maintain accurate pipeline data and guide decision-making. Self-motivated, resilient, and curious about what drives growth in travel businesses. Willingness to travel for industry events and in-person prospecting. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages such as Spanish, Italian, or German is highly desirable. Comfortable working in a role that is still evolving and contributing to building the playbook.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications specified; emphasis is on relevant experience, skills, and a proactive attitude.
