About the Role
Tripadvisor Group connects people to experiences worth sharing and aims to be the world’s most trusted source for travel and experiences. As a Software Engineer II, you will join a fast-growing team within Tripadvisor Experiences, working closely with product managers and designers. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle from design, coding, testing, deployment, and iteration. Our engineers release code to production frequently, often daily.
This is a full-stack role with a primary focus on backend systems and occasional front-end projects. While front-end expertise is not required, eagerness to learn is supported. Our technology stack includes Java, GraphQL, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, all running on AWS. Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language is essential.

Experience
Proven proficiency in an object-oriented programming language is essential. Experience with backend systems is preferred. Front-end experience is a plus but not required.
