About the Role
THE·TEAM is a global representation and marketing company operating across 28 countries and more than 70 cities, driven by the unifying power of sports, music, and entertainment. This role sits within the Sport Signage group, which specialises in racetrack and sports-event signage, providing end-to-end services from creative design and production to logistics, installation, and software solutions. The team delivers bespoke design concepts, on-site printing, ground painting, LED displays, and sustainable materials to create immersive branded environments.

As a CAD Technician / Technical CAD Designer, you will develop the technical information needed to transform creative and spatial concepts into buildable, installable, and costable event solutions. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will work closely with Procurement/Estimating and Operations teams. Your responsibilities include producing technical drawings, supporting build methodology, understanding materials and quantities, and solving practical problems, without owning commercial pricing or event delivery.

Your key duties will include:
1. Developing practical technical drawings and details for fabrication, build, and installation.
2. Producing accurate CAD drawings with proper revision control and file organisation.
3. Reviewing designs for buildability, transport, installation, dismantling, and reuse.
4. Supporting Estimating and Procurement with technical information.
5. Collaborating with Operations to resolve technical queries before and during events.
6. Integrating with the design team to balance technical delivery and design intent.
7. Ensuring technical quality through thorough checking and peer review.
8. Supporting site measurement and verification.
9. Developing reusable technical details and templates.
10. Driving continuous improvement based on feedback and lessons learned.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment at the intersection of design, fabrication, and event delivery within the motorsport and sports signage sector.
