About the Role
The Campaign Manager – Attendee Marketing is a strategic role within the attendee marketing team, reporting directly to the Director of Attendee Marketing. This position is responsible for translating the overarching attendee marketing strategy into detailed campaign briefs and tactical plans that leverage an optimal channel mix to drive attendee acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will design frameworks and provide strategic direction for campaigns that ensure alignment with audience personas, event goals, and attendee value propositions. Working closely with the Attendee Marketing Hub team members and Centers of Excellence, you will ensure campaign plans are strategically aligned, data-driven, and designed to deliver impactful results.

As the Hub Master, you will lead agile marketing ceremonies to support the pillar hub in delivering campaign results together with the Creative & Marketing Performance Centre of Excellence. By embedding insights and performance reporting from the Marketing Analytics Centre of Excellence into campaign planning, you will optimize strategies and pivot as needed to maximize return on investment.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate attendee marketing strategy into detailed campaign briefs outlining objectives, target audiences, messaging frameworks, and channel recommendations.
- Develop tactical campaign plans aligned with event goals, audience personas, and acquisition targets.
- Provide strategic direction on campaign frameworks ensuring alignment with attendee value propositions and audience resonance.
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager to ensure campaign plans reflect broader attendee marketing strategy.
- Run the agile marketing hub as Hub Master, managing sprint planning cycles and collaborating with hub engagement managers and Centres of Excellence.
- Identify and recommend effective channels for attendee acquisition and engagement, aligned with audience preferences and event objectives.
- Embed insights from marketing analytics into channel selection and targeting strategies to optimize measurable outcomes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including content, operations, sales, brand, and strategic insights to ensure campaign alignment and impact.
- Establish and monitor campaign KPIs such as acquisition, engagement, and retention metrics.
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends and opportunities, refining plans to maximize impact.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging channels, and best practices to inform campaign planning.
- Implement a test-and-learn approach to drive continuous improvement within an agile marketing framework.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in campaign management, with expertise in briefing and planning integrated attendee marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Strong ability to translate attendee marketing strategies into detailed campaign plans that deliver measurable results. Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including content, operations, and sales. Proven experience and/or understanding of agile marketing principles and ways of working.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in marketing, campaign management, or related fields are desirable. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
