About the Role
Ingeus is currently looking for a Career Coach to build and maintain effective rapport with participants to find sustainable employment commensurate with their aspirations, employment goals and skills level. Engagement will be through face to face or remote digital meetings.

The objective of this programme is to provide immediate and fast-paced support to promptly identify the type of assistance required to enable participants to re-join the labour market. The Career Coach will manage a caseload of participants with specific requirements, including niche sectors. Many participants may not have experienced unemployment before and will need sensitive and adaptive support to build trust and rapport.

As a Career Coach, you will be responsible for:
- Building effective and positive relationships with participants, working collaboratively to identify the support needed for rapid labour market re-entry.
- Ensuring participants have up-to-date, professional CVs, supporting statements, and covering letters tailored for each application.
- Providing job search support, guiding participants to register on appropriate job boards and maintaining visible digital profiles.
- Offering industry-specific specialism based on relevant sector experience, such as retail, manufacturing, or contact centre.
- Supporting participants in interview preparation, including conducting mock interviews and assessment activities.
- Conducting diagnostic assessments to evaluate job readiness and determine appropriate support levels throughout the programme.
- Managing caseloads of senior, experienced, and highly skilled participants, and providing advisory support to Restart Advisor colleagues.

Experience
- Recent experience working in a related industry within the past 3 months
- Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in a performance target-driven environment such as business to business sales or equivalent
- Knowledge of commercial management positions and their generic requirements
- Understanding of different sectors and how skills transfer to higher level managerial roles
- Knowledge of the local labour market, wider provision, and stakeholders

- Ability to network and build effective internal and external relationships
- High level digital literacy and data accuracy skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based communication technologies
