About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference and creating positive social impact? As an Employment Advisor, you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals. You will help participants unlock their potential and guide them toward sustainable employment, from career coaching to personal development, addressing complex and varied challenges along the way.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and identify the steps needed to secure meaningful employment. You will meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.

You will also understand and signpost participants to internal and external services addressing needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching. Ensuring participants have well-crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to support job searches will be part of your role. Additionally, you will prepare participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities, helping them build confidence in their abilities.

Maintaining accurate electronic participant records that reflect the broad spectrum of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and standards, is essential.

Experience
Experience working in fast-paced environments. Strong experience in delivering against and exceeding performance targets and engaging participants in personal growth and mindset transformation driving positive change. Experience of working in a relevant sector within the past 3 months.

The ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge participants to achieve their fullest potential. Exceptional communication skills to inspire and influence participants while addressing their diverse needs with flexibility, robustness and creativity. Ability to contact employers and other external stakeholders to identify opportunities for participants. Flexible and creative in solving complex challenges. Excellent organisational skills—able to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities. High-level digital literacy.
