About the Role
Redbridge Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are seeking Clinical Supervisors who are passionate about early intervention for children and young people's mental health (CYP MH). MHSTs are a national initiative in response to the Government's plans to transform mental health provision for children and young people.

This is a fantastic opportunity for applicants passionate about supporting early intervention in CYP mental health. We welcome applicants from Educational/Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, and Systemic Family Therapists, and are open to shaping the role depending on professional expertise.

The main duties include:
- Delivering evidence-based interventions directly to children, young people, and their families, both individually and in groups.
- Supervising Practitioners who deliver low-intensity CBT-based guided self-help interventions to children, young people, and their families, including group supervision and individual case management supervision.
- Providing whole school mental health support to school staff and the wider community, which may include training, projects, parent/carer support, and borough-wide campaigns.

Applicants will have the opportunity to undertake a postgraduate diploma in Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Supervision alongside the role.

Experience
Applicants should have professional experience as Educational/Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, or Systemic Family Therapists. Experience in delivering evidence-based interventions and supervising practitioners is desirable.

You are passionate about early intervention in children and young people's mental health, motivated to support and develop mental health services, and able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You are adaptable and open to shaping the role according to your professional expertise.

Qualifications
Relevant professional qualifications in Educational/Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Systemic Family Therapy are required. The opportunity to undertake a postgraduate diploma in Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Supervision will be provided alongside the role.
