About the Role
As a Communications Officer at Imperial College Health Partners (ICHP), you will support the delivery of the corporate communications strategy by contributing to planned communications activities under the direction of the Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs. Your role will involve researching, drafting, editing, and publishing a variety of content including news stories, blogs, case studies, newsletters, briefings, and marketing materials. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to identify and develop stories that showcase ICHP’s work, service offerings, and impact.

You will adapt key stories and content for multiple purposes, channels, and audiences, including events, video, website collateral, PR, and media activities. You will provide end-to-end planning, development, and delivery of ICHP events such as conferences, roundtables, workshops, and webinars, preparing all necessary materials including agendas, speaker briefing packs, slide decks, and delegate resources.

Supporting the day-to-day management of ICHP’s digital and internal channels, including the website, LinkedIn, newsletters, and internal platforms, will be a key part of your role. You will upload and manage website content via WordPress, ensuring pages are accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, you will contribute to internal communications activities that support staff engagement and ensure they feel informed and inspired.

You will draft and own the fortnightly staff update, ensuring clear and consistent communication across the organisation. Monitoring and collating communications performance data using tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Teams will support regular reporting and evaluation. You will assist with continuous improvement of templates, processes, and content, maintain a forward planner and editorial calendar to ensure timely and aligned content, and keep contact lists and distribution groups up to date.

Working to agreed plans, priorities, and deadlines, you will escalate issues as appropriate to ensure smooth communications operations within ICHP.
