About the Role
As a Curriculum Support Assistant at Islington Adult Community Learning, you will play a pivotal role in supporting learning, teaching, recruitment, and the smooth and efficient delivery of this education service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team making a real difference in the community. You will support the smooth running of the service and help ensure learners receive the support they need to succeed. Key responsibilities include administering pastoral support provision, providing administrative support for tutors and curriculum leaders, assisting with course promotion and marketing, maintaining resources for classes and events, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries at various learning centres across the borough, and playing an active role in learner enrolment and data entry. You will work closely with the Adult Learning Manager and a team of friendly, experienced tutors and curriculum leaders within the Inclusive Economy and Jobs directorate, contributing to a service committed to serving communities and challenging inequality through collaborative, ambitious, resourceful, and empowering values.

Experience
Experience providing excellent customer-facing support combined with administrative duties is essential. Experience supporting adult learners is desirable. An Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification is especially welcome but not required.

About you
You will be a proactive team member able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines. You should be self-directed, able to take initiative and solve problems, and an excellent communicator. Strong IT skills and the ability to enter data accurately are important.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are strictly required; however, relevant experience and any qualifications related to adult learning support or IAG will be advantageous.
