About the Role
Join our dedicated team in making a difference in the lives of Islington's children and families at Bright Futures family support service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to take on the role of Outreach Support Practitioner. The successful candidate will work closely with schools and community venues to offer information, advice, and guidance to families within the borough. Responsibilities include holding drop-in surgeries and assisting in the outreach support offer within the team. This role provides a meaningful opportunity to support children and families through strong advice and guidance skills, contributing to positive outcomes in the community.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in providing advice and guidance to children and families is desirable. A passion for supporting families and working within community settings is essential.

You should be able to work collaboratively with schools and community venues and be confident in engaging with diverse communities. A strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in family support, social work, or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory. A willingness to undertake any necessary training and development is required.
