JOB TITLE: Data and Insights Product Owner LOCATIONS: London, Bristol SALARY: £118,652 + DOE HOURS: Full time WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our hub locations. About this opportunity Personalised Experiences and Communications (PEC) platform sits within the Consumer Relationships BU and plays a substantial role in supporting the achievement of the Group Personalisation strategy to be more relevant for customers. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as the Data & Insights Senior PO right at the pivotal time during our Platform transformation. With the customer at the heart, you'll be leading our brand-new data lab with two in a box leadership with the Lab Engineering Lead. Our mission is to lead and develop the personalisation strategy driving forward the transformation to provide self-serving capabilities, tech, and infrastructure for how we can engage with customers. In this varied role, you'll: Define a customer centric product vision & strategy for our data capabilities, being passionate about how we develop a deep understanding of our customers to power more relevant, personalised experiences across all channels. Encouraging a collaborative culture and empowering the product engineering teams full ownership of outcomes, encouraging innovation and minimising risk through data-driven testing and learning whilst ensuring compliance of overall data products. Responsible for the end-to-end accountability for design, build and management of robust, scalable personalisation data products on the cloud by ingesting source and curated data products from core systems and third parties. As part Leadership team, formulate & supporting the delivery of the lab and platform level objectives and key results, providing product performance and benefits realisation data, chipping in to helping achieve group-level goals and metrics. Define, own and communicate the product roadmap (including development cases) and coordinating product governance to best resolve how to serve internal (e.g. training and comms) and end customer's needs. Building effective links across the Group understanding a wide variety of data needs and requirements, to deliver customer value and using this to continually evolve the data product strategy. About you: Possess an outstanding blend of data expertise, critical thinking, and intuition for business that you'll have used to develop a compelling product vision and strategy. Have strong analytical and quantitative skills to drive compelling narratives and cases on value propositions that are synthesised based on variety of inputs including industry benchmarks. Have extensive delivery experience and have worked in partnership closely with engineering and technology teams to deliver data transformation (ideally on cloud) within agile change delivery practices & cultures. Have a robust understanding of the data landscape, market trends and user needs which you'll use to craft the strategic direction of data products as well as identifying new chances to define data driven decision, driving product innovation. Have experience adding new value within diverse business and technical environments, applying your knowledge of the business and the marketplace. Have an extensive track record of building strong senior level relationships and providing constructive support and challenge to C-level executives.
