About the Role
LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Development Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team delivering strategic applications for the flagship LSEG Workspace platform. You will drive all phases of the development lifecycle including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, unit testing, and integration, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with the product roadmap. You will manage iterative releases and make informed decisions throughout the delivery process. Collaborating closely with business, product, and UX teams, you will define and refine requirements for strategic improvements. Partnering with DevOps, you will ensure reliability, scalability, and robust monitoring of infrastructure to guarantee uninterrupted service. As a leader, you will articulate business and technical strategies, provide regular progress updates to senior management, mentor team members to enhance technical expertise and development practices, and participate in recruitment activities to build and strengthen the team. Experience
- Proven track record managing multiple projects and complex product development cycles in an Agile environment.
- Experience leading distributed, cross-functional teams to deliver software projects on time.
- Strong proficiency in Frontend development (JavaScript and TypeScript) and Full-Stack development with backend knowledge.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform is desirable.
- Ability to define product and technology vision and lead teams from ideation through execution.
- Skilled in identifying project opportunities, understanding customer requirements, and facilitating requirements collection.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented attitude.

Qualifications
