About the Role
Join a growing, forward-thinking Educational Psychology Service at an exciting point of transformation. Hounslow’s Educational Psychology Service is expanding and evolving as part of a newly developing multi-disciplinary Specialist Practice & Advice Service, which brings together Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Portage, Early Years practitioners, and specialist teachers. This integrated approach offers rich opportunities for systemic and preventative work beyond traditional EP practice.

Whether you are a qualified Educational Psychologist or a Year 3 Trainee, you will find a supportive, reflective, and ambitious environment where your practice can flourish. The service is committed to keeping the voice of children and young people at the centre of all work.

As an Educational Psychologist in Hounslow, you will:
- Apply psychology creatively and systemically to support inclusion
- Work closely with schools to develop early intervention approaches
- Contribute to assessment, consultation, training, and wider strategic work
- Build strong partnerships with families, schools, and multi-agency colleagues

The role offers the opportunity to shape the future of practice within a rapidly developing, innovative service model, contribute to early intervention and systemic work at scale, and participate in initiatives such as the DfE “Experts at Hand”. You will collaborate daily with a wide multi-disciplinary team, influence outcomes across education, health, and care systems, and develop skills working with a range of ages and settings including primary, secondary, and early years.

Professional development is strongly supported through a culture of evidence-informed and reflective practice, opportunities for training delivery, supervision, and pathways into leadership roles. The service promotes wellbeing and workload balance with manageable statutory work alongside meaningful early intervention, hybrid working with high autonomy and flexibility, and strong CPD and team support.
