About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference and creating positive social impact? As a Restart Advisor, you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals. You will help participants unlock their potential and guide them toward sustainable employment, providing career coaching, personal development support, and addressing complex and varied challenges along the way.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and identify the steps needed to secure meaningful employment. You will meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.

You will also understand and signpost participants to internal and external services addressing needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching. Ensuring participants have well-crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to support job searches is essential.

Preparing participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities, helping them build confidence in their abilities, is a key part of the role. Maintaining accurate electronic participant records that reflect the broad spectrum of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and standards, is also required.

Experience
Experience working in fast-paced environments is essential. You should have strong experience in delivering against and exceeding performance targets and engaging participants in personal growth and mindset transformation driving positive change. Experience of working in a relevant sector within the past 3 months is required.

About you
You must have the ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge participants to achieve their fullest potential. Exceptional communication skills are necessary to inspire and influence participants while addressing their diverse needs with flexibility, robustness, and creativity. You will also engage with employers and other external stakeholders to identify opportunities for participants. You should be flexible and creative in solving complex challenges.

High-level digital literacy and excellent organisational skills are required to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities.
