About the Role
We have two Estate Services Caretaker positions available based in Deptford. If you take pride in keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly, and enjoy being out and about meeting people while making a real impact in your community, this role is perfect for you. As a hands-on, people-focused Estate Services Caretaker at Peabody, you will help keep our estates looking their best. Your daily tasks will include lighting checks and replacing bulbs, cleaning communal areas, working closely with your team and residents to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and being a visible, approachable presence on-site. You won’t be stuck behind a desk—you’ll be out on site making a real difference every day. You will be part of a supportive team that values your input and provides the tools you need to succeed, including a company van to assist you in your duties.

Experience
Previous experience in caretaking or cleaning roles is required. Familiarity with powered equipment is essential.

About you
You must have a full, clean UK manual driving licence. You should be someone who loves helping people, takes pride in their work, and is reliable and approachable.

Qualifications
This role requires a Basic DBS check and a full UK driving licence. Please note that Peabody does not offer sponsorship for this position.
