About the Role

Following an organisational restructure in Adult Social Care Mental Health Service, an opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Mental Health Social Worker. This position offers excellent opportunities for a skilled and experienced social worker to work autonomously, demonstrating and modelling exemplary standards of practice. The role includes supporting social workers, non-qualified practitioners, and students within the service.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake all relevant training to qualify and be approved as an Approved Mental Health Professional.

Experience
Considerable expertise and experience as a social worker, particularly within mental health services. Ability to work autonomously and provide leadership and support to colleagues and students.
About you
Committed to high standards of practice and continuous professional development. Willingness to undertake relevant training to become an Approved Mental Health Professional. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engage effectively with residents and families.
Qualifications
Qualified social worker with registration to practice. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check where required.
